Akademia Tuition is currently looking to recruit additional full-time and part-time tutors to join our outstanding international team at our office in Central (a short 5-minute walk from either Sheung Wan or Central Station).

 

Currently, we are interested in passionate and enthusiastic tutors with expertise in the following subjects:

 

   - Modern Languages - English (other languages, such as French, Spanish, German will also be considered)

   - Humanities - Economics, History, and Geography

   - Sciences - Biology, Chemistry, and Physics

 

Applicants must hold the following qualifications:

 

     - Bachelor Degree in the specialised subject.  Holders of Master-level degrees or above will have special consideration.

     - Excellent command of spoken and written English

     - Some basic familarity with the UK and/or US and/or IB Syllabuses is preferable

     - Available to work on Saturdays and occasional evenings

     - Prior teaching experience preferable, but fresh graduates will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

 

Successful applicants will be expected to perform the following duties:

 

   - Conduct 1-to-1 tuition sessions, as well as small classes

   - Preparation of lessons

   - Preparation of written reports on student progress

   - Assignment and grading of student homework

   - Familiarisation with various exam board syllabuses

 

Akademia Tuition will provide successful applicants with the following:
